WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE
Trojan Workforce Victoria and client Toro Australia joined forces in March to support the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.
Trojan contractor Michael Reavey, who works at Toro, brought the businesses together for this charity event. Michael’s seven-year-old daughter, Maddy, has had two battles with leukaemia. Her struggle with the illness inspired Trojan and Toro to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation. Maddy is now on the road to recovery but she enjoyed seeing her dad lose his hair.
“Our state manager, Gavin Baldan, donated $500 on behalf of Trojan, had his hair shaved and then turned his hand to hairdressing himself,” says Trojan’s Jo Castelli.
“We had a fantastic day and lots of laughs,” Jo says. “It was an honour to support a great cause and get involved with Toro socially.”
NSW TRADES UPDATE
Trojan Workforce Western Sydney has a number of excellent electricians currently available for work.
“We have great candidates from the commercial and construction industries, with experience working on fit-outs and large infrastructure projects,” says Adam Galloway, Trades Account Manager.
Demand for qualified metal tradespeople remains high, with many NSW workers lured to WA and Queensland to work on lucrative mining projects.
“If you have a difficult role to fill, call Trojan Workforce – we have the industry contacts to meet our client’s needs,” Adam says.
